YEREVAN. – I haven’t observed personally, or among my colleagues, anything to worry about in connection with the decision of the Constitutional Court. National Assembly Vice President Alen Simonyan told about this to reporters, after Friday’s closed meeting at the headquarters of the ruling Civil Contract party of Armenia.

“A legal process is taking place,” he added. “And I’m confident—that legal process will have its logical end.”

On the basis of second President Robert Kocharyan’s petition, the Constitutional Court recently deemed unconstitutional Article 35 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia, and which refers to cases that rule out criminal prosecution in the country.
