Chair of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, as well as members of the Committee Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Sofya Hovsepyan, Harutyun Babayan, Anna Kostanyan, Vahagn Tevosyan and Lilit Stepanyan today were hosted by Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Ashot Ghulyan during a visit to Artsakh.

As reported the press service of the National Assembly of Armenia, the meeting was also attended by Chair of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly of Artsakh Armen Sargsyan.

Mkhitar Hayrapetyan provided details about the activities that his Committee will be carrying out during the upcoming sessions of the National Assembly.

The interlocutors discussed issues on maximum harmonization of the legislation of the two Armenian republics and touched upon the work that is being done to strengthen the bonds between the two Committees.

The MPs attached special importance to the Committees’ upcoming signature of a memorandum which, according to them, will convey new quality to inter-parliamentary cooperation.
