Free Homeland Party leader Arayik Harutyunyan, will run for presidency in Artsakh in 2020. Arayik Harutyunyan was nominated Sunday and unanimously accepted during the 7th party congress.

Harutyunyan noted all their programs were based on taking care of the citizen, it was possible to implement many of them, but there are still many unsolved issues.

“This congress will open a new political page for our party, since we are going to present our own presidential candidate in the next national election for the first time. This is the highest bar. I want to declare with all responsibility that we have all the prerequisites in order to assume all political responsibility for our country, working with other political forces,” he said.

Arayik Harutyunyan noted that it is difficult to imagine the future of Artsakh without the unity of Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora.

According to the party leader, the number of party members exceeded 7,000.
