Based on the agreement reached during the meeting of Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of Armenia Eduard Aghajanyan and Father Bishop Arshak Khachatryan held on November 8, Eduard Aghajanyan and Bishop Arshak Khachatryan, as well as other interested bodies today discussed tax- and customs-related issues in the relations between the State and Church and the legislative acts regulating those issues, reports the news service of the Government of Armenia.

An agreement was reached to come to terms after an active discussion on the sector-specific issues.

The participants of the meeting touched upon the procedure for fulfilment by the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church of its commitments with respect to the revenues that the Church receives through charities and entrepreneurial activities.
