Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan today met with President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly George Tsereteli, reports the news service of the National Assembly of Armenia.

Welcoming the guest to the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan stated that Armenia highly appreciates the cooperation within the scope of the OSCE and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. He stated that Armenia is very important for Armenia since the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship is the only one with a mandate to deal with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Once again, the parliamentary speaker emphasized that the Armenian authorities stay true to the peaceful talks and see the solution to the issue only through peaceful talks. The interlocutors talked about the reforms underway in Armenia and touched upon the reforms in the Electoral Code, the law on political parties and the fight against corruption. George Tsereteli expressed full support to the democratic reforms taking place in Armenia.
