Over the past 24 hours, six Iraqi protesters were killed after security forces opened fire and used tear gas in Baghdad, reports AP.

Security officers and the doctors at a local hospital say two protesters were killed while the protest at the historic Rashid Street was being dispersed.

Officials declared that one of the protesters was killed in Kerbel and became the fourth person killed over the past 24 hours.

The protesters also burned tires near Akhrar Bridge, blocking security forces’ entrance to the bridge.

At least 350 protesters have been killed and thousands have been wounded during the massive protests that began on October 1.
