Authorities resorted to political pressure, said Prosperous Armenia Party MP Naira Zohrabyan at the Armenian parliament on Wednesday.

She noted that the CC judges will be encouraged for many years until they reach the retirement age, when they begin to pay pensions for their activities.

“This, in fact, is the political pressure resorted to by the current government, having failed to find a legal solution to this problem,” she noted adding that this is an unconstitutional political solution, but not a legal one.

The notorious law was adopted by the efforts of the My Step ruling party. Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia parties MPs voted against.
