Former deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Artak Sargsyan (SAS Artak) and businessman Aram Kocharyan have refused to undergo a forensic medicine expert examination for investigation of the incident that took place at Terrazza Café in Yerevan. Artak Sargsyan has also refused to testify at the Investigative Committee, reports the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

Artak Sargsyan was interviewed as a witness on August 15, 2019. He had been summoned to the Investigative Committee twice in the past, but hadn’t shown up and said that he was out of the country.

On June 5, 2018, Artak Sargsyan (SAS Artak) was involved in an incident that took place in the premises of Terrazza Café in Yerevan. However, Artak Sargsyan gave an explanation to the police and refuted his participation in the incident. On June 8, a criminal case was instituted under part 4 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon or objects used as weapons).
