Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo of seeking to sow hostility and extremism with his behavior.

According to the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi, Pompeo’s behavior does not correspond to the level of the Foreign Minister, Mehr reported.

According to him, the foreign ministers of the world are the harbingers of peace, reconciliation, dialogue and respect, Pompeo has become a hooligan, deceitful figure who adheres to the language of violence, ignorance and extremism.

Yesterday, the United States announced new sanctions against Iran, aimed at individuals in the courts and security services. Sanctions were imposed on two Iranian judges.
