Minister of Economy of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic in Armenia Vincenzo Del Monaco, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

In the context of the deepening of economic ties between Italy and Armenia, the minister and Ambassador highly appreciated the “Armenia, New Reality: Platform Towards the Eurasian Market” Armenian-Italian Business Forum, discussed the activities being carried out with the Italian businessmen who expressed interest in doing business in Armenia after the forum and touched upon the sectors in which there is greater potential to absorb investments.

The prospects for organizing a business delegation’s visit in the first half of next year and other details regarding the visit were discussed during the meeting.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the minister for the effective cooperation and agreed to continue efforts in all the earmarked directions.
