Turkish Deputy Minister of Defense Alparslan Kavakoglu has handed a commemorative medal to Ambassador of Japan to Turkey Akio Miyajima for development of the cooperation between the two countries.

According to CNNTurk, during the ceremony of handing of the commemorative medal at the Embassy of Japan in Ankara, the Ambassador of Japan expressed gratitude and stated that even though Turkey and Japan are far from each other, their hearts are close to one another. “This means Turkey and Japan are two states, one nation,” the Ambassador of Japan said.
