YEREVAN. – I would like to apologize to my colleagues for all that possible wording that could have caused disagreement. Davit Khazhakyan, head of the opposition Luys faction, announced this at the beginning of the Yerevan Council of Elders' meeting today, referring to the matter of opposition Bright Armenia party's recent consideration of recalling him from the Council of Elders.

He reminded that it was decided that he would remain at the Council of Elders.

"The calm passage of the Yerevan Council of Elders’ meetings depends a lot on you too, Mr. Mayor," Khazhakyan added addressing the mayor. “I hope that our constructive course will be restored, also through your efforts. This course may also have a sharp critical component, which should not receive other manifestations."
