The commander of the Iranian Basij militia, Abdolhossein Mojaddami, was killed by unidentified armed men Wednesday morning in the province of Khuzestan in the southeast of the country.
Shadegan County Governor Saeed Hajian in an interview with IRNA noted that two terrorists killed the commander in the morning at his house.
According to him,no group has claimed responsibility for the murder so far.
Mojaddami was also one of the comrades of General Qasem Soleimani, who was killed on 3 January by US Air Force near Baghdad International Airport.
