A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the eastern coast of Indonesia on Sunday.

The epicenter of the quake, with a depth of 28 km under the seabed, was located 117 km southeast of the province's district of Seram Bagian Timur.

No reports about casualties have been received.
