Ahead of tomorrow’s International Women's Day, the servicewomen and female staff of the department of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army were given special attention from the Defense Army command and the Artsakh Freedom Fighters' Union, the Ministry of Defense reported.

Underscoring the women's role in the troops, Stepan Gevorgyan, Deputy Commander of the Defense Army, and Eduard Khachatryan, Chief of Staff of the Artsakh Freedom Fighters' Union, expressed a conviction that women will always be full bearers of their entrusted respective mission, and will continue to contribute to increasing the combat-readiness of the armed forces of Artsakh.

At the end of the event, the servicewomen and female staff of the department of the Defense Army were given monetary incentives by the army command, and flowers—by the Artsakh Freedom Fighters' Union.
