The number of people infected with coronavirus has reached 18 in Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this on Facebook livestream.

He emphasized that all new infections are of the same circle; that is, 11 of the 18 infected are participants in the well-known engagement party.

The Prime Minister mentioned that they have good news, too; that is, the latest test of the first person whose coronavirus infection was detected on March 1, was negative. This will undergo another test and if it is negative, too, he will go home.

"We [Armenia] do not have people in the risk zone because our confirmed cases are up to 51 years old, whereas practice shows that we have to have a 100% cure," Pashinyan said. “We have only one person who is 72 years old, but thank God, he has no negative symptoms. So we hope that we will go through this process easier than we went through the H1N1 virus.

The responsibility of each of us is very important to prevent further problems."
