Media restrictions will apply in Armenia during the state of emergency declared, from March 16 to April 16, by the government decision.

The draft decision states in this connection, in particular, that during this state of emergency, only official information on coronavirus will be allowed to be disseminated in the country.

Also, media reports should not contradict official information and should retransmit it as much as possible.

But the respective restrictions do not apply to reports made by state officials, or to the references made to their reports.
