YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: There have been numerous publications about the resignation of [State Revenue Committee (SRC) chairman] Davit Ananyan. Of course, it was time and had several reasons, but the reason for [Ananyan’s] writing a petition [to be dismissed] was the topic of the Ararat Customs House-Department.

Let us remind: A photo was sent to [PM] Nikol Pashinyan, which shows crowds of people in the [aforesaid] customs house, and he demanded the dismissal of the head of the customs house, which was opposed by the SRC chairman, and he preferred to he himself write a petition [to be dismissed] rather than dismiss the seasoned staff.

When Davit Ananyan came to the government [for a government session], the policeman at the entrance took the phone from his hand—something that has never happened before, and said that it is the PM's instruction. Also, the person accompanying Ananyan, who is responsible for the security of the SRC [chief] and was always accompanying him, was not allowed to go upstairs. Offended by this attitude, Davit Ananyan went upstairs, wrote a petition [to be dismissed] and left.
