According to Shamshyan.com, the inquest unit of Kotayk Regional Police is preparing a report based on the application filed by Vazgen V., a 24-year-old resident of Kotayk Province.

The resident told the police that on June 11 at around 7:30 a.m. his 69-year-old grandmother died from the coronavirus at a hospital in Yerevan. The grandmother had a gold ring on her finger while her body was being wrapped up. After the body was wrapped up, it was placed in an ambulance truck and transferred to the morgue of the National Center for Fight against Tuberculosis where the person conducting autopsy reported that there was no ring on the deceased woman’s finger and, as evidence, showed the photo of the deceased grandmother’s hand on which there was no ring. According to Shamshyan.com, Vazgen V. told police officers that he hadn’t contacted the police since he was busy with preparations for his grandmother’s funeral.
