A territory near the Armenian church Surb Mariam Astvatsatsin in Iran's Hamadan city was on fire, Aliqonline.ir reported referring to ISNA.

The fire did not damage the historic building.

No casualties are reported. A fire broke out in a grassy area, reached the church building, as a result of which the facade was partially damaged, but not the building itself.
