YEREVAN. – After the deployment of a large number of police forces and the subsequent apprehension of several people, parliamentary opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader, MP, and business tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan's supporters, who had gathered in front of the National Assembly (NA) since this morning, moved to the neighboring Lovers' Park.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported from the scene that the police have blocked all the entrances to this park.

Numerous police forces are stationed in the areas adjacent to the NA.

And according to media reports, the police have established strict control at the police checkpoints entering Yerevan.
