I worked at Kentron TV, not Prosperous Armenia Party’s TV, and I worked and got paid just like I have worked and gotten paid at other television stations. This is what member of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Lusine Badalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, in response to criticism that she used to work for Kentron TV (a television company belonging to leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan), but voted in favor of the petition to strip Tsarukyan of parliamentary immunity.

“I worked, but didn’t have a high salary. It doesn’t have anything to do with the current legal processes. I am doing my job as a deputy. I have worked at various television stations. Does this mean I am politically affiliated to the owners of those television stations? I have worked in television for 20 years, and throughout those 20 years, I have worked at Kentron TV for 5 years. So what?” Lusine Badalyan said.
