Turks decided to commit a new historical and cultural attack, Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction MP Arman Abovyan wrote on his Facebook.

According to him, while the country's authorities were engaged 'in political 'adventurism' inside Armenia', events that are fraught with extremely serious danger have been taking place in the region.

"Turks decided to commit a new historical and cultural attack. This time they are 'restoring' the Armenian historical monuments in the city of Ani.

Kars Deputy Mayor, Ahmet Arslan, is proud to report to their media that they intend to restore the monuments of the city of Ani, which are important for the 'Turkish history' in order to present their history to the whole world," Abovyan added.

"Can you even imagine what dangers does this pose?" the Armenian MP wonders.
