According to Armenian News-NEWS.am, today police officers of Yerevan found Vahagn Abgaryan, a.k.a. Alaverdtsi Vahag, and took him into custody. Vahagn Abgaryan is charged with organizing the murder of Kamo Piruzyan and keeping illegal arms and weapons.

By the decision rendered by the general jurisdiction court of Lori Province of Armenia on April 1, 2020, applying pledge as a pre-trial measure against him was declared as permissible. Later, the Criminal Court of Appeal overturned that decision.
