Head of the Bright Armenia faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Edmon Marukyan has posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Armenia is a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), but not Azerbaijan. Therefore, the CSTO needs to condemn Azerbaijan’s provocations and only call on the Azerbaijani side to stop firing, without making nonsensical statements addressed to both sides.”

Today the Secretariat of the CSTO issued a statement stating the need for an immediate restoration of the ceasefire in the CSTO responsibility zone, calling on the sides to resolve the conflict exclusively through peaceful means and refrain from taking provocative actions in order to prevent escalation of the tension.
