Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia refuted Azerbaijani mass media’s news about the transfer of mortars from Georgia to Armenia and stated that this is “unverified information disseminated by the media”, Interpressnews reports.

“Georgia won’t have a political issue since it performs its duties in accordance with international laws. The information is unverified information disseminated by the mass media. This information needs to be taken into consideration only when it becomes a matter of discussion between our two countries. There is no threat to the strategic partnership and fraternity between Azerbaijan and Georgia. Nothing can pose a threat to these high-level relations,” Gakharia declared.
