Whatever was written is nothing new since it has been talked about in different places. This is what Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan told reporters today, touching upon the analysis of the Russian Dosye Center according to which Russia has agents within almost all state institutions in Armenia.

The analysis also features the names of former directors of the National Security Service of Armenia, including Karlos Petrosyan, Georgy Kutoyan and Artur Vanetsyan.

“Long live the Republic of Armenia as an independent country where only the Armenian people can have any leverage,” Simonyan said.

Asked if he thinks it is likely that the directors of the National Security Service could have been agents, Simonyan said the following: “I believe this serves as a good opportunity to launch an investigation to understand who those agents are and who allowed himself to act against the Republic of Armenia through espionage.” Simonyan added that there have been agents in all periods.

Touching upon President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s statement according to which Armenia is preparing for war, Simonyan said Aliyev is a wretched person who is ready to take any action to maintain power.
