The US has imposed sanctions against eight citizens of Russia and immigrants from Russia, as well as seven Russian and Finnish organizations, as reported on the website of the US Treasury Department, according to RIA Novosti.

The decision is due to cybercrimes, intervention in US elections and the situation in Ukraine.
