A 5.3 magnitude earthquake hit Eastern Turkey this morning, RIA Novosti reported, citing Turkey’s Department for Emergency Situations and Natural Disasters.

Minister of the Interior Suleyman Solyu reported that, according to preliminary information, there are no victims and devastations. Assessment of the damage continues.
