Four people have died during the riots in the US Capitol. This was reported by acting District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee, CBS reported.
According to him, one woman was shot inside the Capitol, and three others died after suffering "medical emergencies."

Contee added that 13 police officers were injured during the violence.

According to him, as of 9:30pm local time, more than 52 people have been detained, 47 of them—in connection with breaking the curfew.
