The quake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred 29 kilometers from the city of Tianeti, and 59 kilometers from Tbilisi.

Tremors were recorded at 04:12 am local time. The epicenter was located at a depth of 8 kilometers.

There were no reports of casualties or destruction.
