The delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Sergey Istrakov arrived in Armenia to participate in the talks of the general staffs over the Armenian-Russian military cooperation in all directions, as reported the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The same day, the head of the delegation was received by Minister of Defense of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan and had a meeting with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan.

The volume of and directions for the future activities were earmarked during the meetings.
