YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes. Well-informed sources of Zhoghovurd daily report that after a long break, the opposition leaders will meet in the coming days, maybe on Saturday.

According to our information, (…) RA second President Robert Kocharyan will also be present.

According to our information, the leaders are going to inform each other that they no longer want to continue being in the wing of the [opposition] Homeland Salvation Movement, and the fight should be moved to another format.

Everyone accuses each other of being indecisive. According to our information, a part of the opposition leaders believes that they should go for early parliamentary elections, whereas another part is of the view that such an agreement should not be reached with the current authorities.

By the way, according to the same information, secret polls were conducted in the provinces and in Yerevan about Robert Kocharyan, including by several embassies, state structures, and it turned out that his [popularity] rating is rising.

By the end of the week, it will be known as to what path Armenia’s opposition is choosing. It is obvious that the political leaders of the mentioned union have already rejected their nominee for prime minister, Vazgen Manukyan; but it is not ruled out that Manukyan will also be present at the meeting of the leaders to clarify his next courses of action.
