Head of Shoghakat village of Armenia Suliko Shushanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that there are no major devastations in the Shoghakat (Shorzha) village of Gegharkunik Province which was hit with an earthquake with a 6-7-point magnitude a little while ago.

“The structure that was at risk the most was the local school since it is an accident-prone building, but it didn’t collapse. There are only collapsed walls. Power has been restored,” he said.

The village head informed that residents are currently outside.

Today Armenia recorded an earthquake with the epicenter in Gegharkunik Province (with a 6-7-point magnitude).
