Pope Francis will visit Iraqi Kurdistan in March at the invitation of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, Kurdistan24 reported.

The pontiff is due to arrive in the region on March 7. He will meet with Prime Minister Barzani, President of Iraqi Kurdistan Nechirvan Barzani, and former President Masoud Barzani.
