Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia Ruben Vardazaryan has failed to accomplish his mission and has crossed the ‘red line’ in politics. This is what deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan said during today’s discussion on the election of a judge of the Court of Cassation in parliament.

Rubinyan reminded Vardazaryan about the statement that he had made after the war in Nagorno-Karabakh in which he had made a reference to Nikol Pashinyan’s statement about “whining judges”.

Rubinyan reminded Vardazaryan that when there was an assassination attempt against the Speaker of the National Assembly after the war, there was news about the organizing of an assassination attempt against the Prime Minister, and in this period, Ruben Vardazaryan made a statement.

Rubinyan asked Vardazaryan if his statement was a call for restraint and if he was considering his possible resignation, to which Vardazaryan said he hadn’t thought about the statement and hasn’t considered resigning.
