YEREVAN. – Deep reforms have taken place in Armenia over the past period, affecting all domains—from the economy and justice to nature conservation. Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Monday’s special sitting of the National Assembly, during the latter’s debates on the matter of electing a new prime minister, speaking about the results of his three-year rule.

He particularly complained about the headlines of the media reports, stating that they do not reflect the reality. "In fact, the deep reforms have touched upon all spheres of the country's life. When I assumed the office of Prime Minister, the government's debt to economic entities was about 274 billion drams against the VAT debit balance. Today, in fact, the government has no debts to businesses, as they have been zeroed. In three years, we have returned 500 million [US] dollars to businesses," Pashinyan added.
