There is a surge in attacks on Jewish communities in Europe - primarily in Germany - in the context of exacerbating tensions in the Middle East, RIA Novosti reported referring to the European Jewish Congress (EJC).

Attacks on Jews and Jewish objects are always motivated by anti-Semitism, no matter how they try to associate them with events of a geopolitical nature, taking place at a distance of 3,000 miles from the places where such incidents occur, the EJC noted.

According to them, there is still the spread of false and hateful fabrications about Israel and its right to defend itself against terrorist attacks by Hamas that incite hatred towards Jews and provoke attacks on them in European countries.
