Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ara Aivazian ruled out the existence of a second document. This is what candidate of the “I Have Honor” alliance of political parties for Prime Minister Artur Vanetsyan told reporters near the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A short while ago, a few members of the alliance had a meeting with the acting foreign minister.

“We raised issues of our concern, that is, what is happening on the external borders of Armenia, the agreements that the incumbent authorities have reached with the Azerbaijani side and what the authorities are planning to cede or what steps they are taking that will weaken the country’s security system,” Vanetsyan said, adding that the acting foreign minister’s answers varied.

Vanetsyan said the acting foreign minister ruled out the existence of a second document and noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is unaware. “This doesn’t serve as a ground for us to be at ease and say there is no document since, in many cases, official statements are refuted,” he said.

Asked what the stance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the document was, Vanetsyan said the stance was diverse. “At first sight, the document is on delimitation and demarcation of borders, but we have concerns about the outcomes and consequences,” he added.
