YEREVAN. – At Thursday's Cabinet session, the interim government made changes in a number of its decisions, whereby the principle of "one stop, one window" shall be introduced at the state border checkpoints and foreign activity service centers of Armenia.

Rafik Mashadyan, First Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, presenting this matter, noted that to obtain the relevant permit document in Armenia, the economic entities currently submit the necessary documents to the authorized body by mail or in person, and at the request of the authorized body, these economic entities provide additional documents by hand or by cover letter (by mail).

In order to make this process online, the "Joint Application" system is being implemented, as a result of which it is planned to apply for the relevant permit documents, as well as to fill in and download the accompanying documents online

According to Mashadyan, with these new changes, the permit documents will be provided in a shorter period of time. In particular, the five working days set for this application shall become two working days.

The draft also envisages shortening the deadlines for reviewing a number of permit documents.
