An Armenian citizen has been detained in Georgia for selling counterfeit excise stamps, according to the Investigation Service of the Georgian Ministry of Finance.

The investigation found out that the accused had sold 3,051 forged excise stamps in the Georgian capital Tbilisi for alcohol worth $ 2,700 , and was detained at that very moment.

An investigation is underway.

The accused faces 4 to 6 years of imprisonment.
