Two young members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) political party’s Nigol Aghbalian Student Union who held a protest in front of the government building today have been released from the police station, deputy of the opposition “Armenia” faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Gegham Manukyan said during a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The police are preparing a report on Gor Sargsyan under the charge of heavily insulting. They say Sargsyan allegedly heavily insulted the Prime Minister, but the police didn’t provide a normal explanation and didn’t specifically say which word was a heavy insult. However, things turned out this way because the police are currently serving one person and are busy protecting him,” Manukyan stated.

As reported earlier, young members of the ARF-D held a protest in front of the government building. Police apprehended two of them (one of them was apprehended while speaking via a microphone, and the other was apprehended while talking to reporters).
