YEREVAN. – Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan on Friday received the head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Regional Representation for the South Caucasus, Maciej Czura, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Khachatryan highly valued the cooperation with the EIB, and highlighted the programs being implemented in Armenia with the co-funding of this bank.

Czura, for his part, noted that he is aware of the steps taken by the Armenian government to improve the business climate in the country, and stressed that the EIB is ready to assist its Armenian partners in this regard as well. At the same time, the EIB official expressed satisfaction with the level of their cooperation with the Armenian government, and expressed confidence that all joint programs will continue to contribute to the development and diversification of Armenia’s economy.

At the ensuing meeting, the parties discussed matters of mutual interest.
