Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan received Swedish Ambassador Patrik Svensson, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The minister presented to the ambassador the 2021-2026 Action Plan of the Armenian government, its priorities outlined in the forthcoming fiscal year, as well as a number of issues related to the macroeconomic stability of Armenia, review of capital expenditures, and tax policy.

In his turn, Ambassador Svensson stressed the importance of deepening cooperation between the two countries, noting that Sweden welcomes the readiness of the Armenian government to implement systemic reforms in Armenia and is ready to continue assisting in the implementation of these reforms.

During the meeting, the parties discussed also a wide range of issues related to engaging economic and business investments and the development of respective relations of mutual economic interest, as well as the establishment of stable partnerships between the two countries.
