The new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones are powered by the Tensor chip, the first processor for Google smartphones. Prices are lower than most competitors - $ 599 for the standard model and $ 899 for the Pro version.
The camera's advances lie in both larger sensors and new computational photography features that allow for more advanced tricks. The Pixel 6 can create motion blur while keeping the subject sharp, or it can remove object blur by combining multiple images. It can even erase an unwanted person or object from the background using the magic eraser function.
The design also aims to stand out from the competition, with a protruding front-facing camera on the back to make room for larger image sensors that include 4x optical zoom on the Pro models.
