In 2022, it is planned to implement two programs, with 11 measures, within the framework of the National Security Service of Armenia. For these purposes, it is planned to allocate more than 42.6 billion drams (approx. $88.7 million) from the state budget. Minister of finance Tigran Khachatryan stated about this at Monday’s parliamentary standing committees’ joint debates on the draft state budget for 2022.

As the minister noted, in 2021 more than 34.7 billion drams (approx. $72.2 million) were allocated in this regard from the state budget.

Thus, the state funding for Armenia’s special services will increase by 22.85 percent.
