The Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia today granted the motion to extend the arrest of former Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan for another two months.

Tonoyan is charged with plundering AMD 2,277,323,840, as well as committing fraud and publicly dangerous acts. Arrest is selected as a pre-trial measure. Head of a company supplying weapons to Armenia Davit Galstyan and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Stepan Galstyan are also accused under this case and are also in custody.
