YEREVAN. – Not only the legislative, but also the executive body of the republic is engaged in the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between the EU and Armenia. Arman Yeghoyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly of Armenia and an MP of the ruling Civil Contract Party, told reporters this on Thursday.

According to him, this engagement is conditioned by various respective decisions of the Armenian government and its immediate head.

At the same time, according to the lawmaker, the bulk of these law initiatives has been proposed by the government.

"I cannot say anything in terms of percentage ratio [in this regard], but many [such] laws have already entered into force [in Armenia]. Besides, we have an interdepartmental commission [in this regard]," Yeghoyan added.
