The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia on Monday announced the names of the captives who have been returned to Armenia from Azerbaijan.

The ministry said in a statement that as a result of the remote meeting on February 4, eight Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) returned to their homeland—and through the mediation of French President Emanuel Macron and European Council President Charles Michel.

These POWs are: Sargis Tarzyan, Vardges Balayan, Armen Petrosyan, Artur Babayan, Hmayak Sargsyan, Gurgen Galoyan, Grigor Kyureghyan, and Vagharshak Maloyan.
