British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss believes a Russian invasion of Ukraine would be a "very dangerous moment" for the world and could encourage aggressors such as China and Iran.

“We could be on the brink of a war in Europe, which would have severe consequences not just for the people of Russia and Ukraine but for the broader security in Europe,” Truss told Sky News.

The foreign secretary added that the UK is currently in negotiations with Iran over stopping them from acquiring a nuclear weapon and she said China has increased its economic coercion and flights over Taiwan.

She added that “Russia would not stop at Ukraine.”
